Telescopes Workshop!

On Thursday the 25th of February, Dr Giles Hammond of the IGR department will be giving a workshop on the use of telescopes and imaging techniques to go along with it!

This is a rare opportunity to learn more about hands on astronomy, ask some questions you may be wondering about or just come along for general interest! Dr Hammond is a very experienced practical astronomer and recently took an fantastic image of the Orion Nebula from the 16" telescope at the Cochno outhouse.

The AstroSoc committee will also be on hand to ask any questions of if needed. Hope to see you there!
